Tracked excavators and crawler equipment need a separate suitability review; a tyre-cleaning layout should not be assumed suitable for tracks.
Dry wheel cleaning alongside wet washing
A dry entrance mat and a water-based wheel-washing system perform different tasks. Compare them using the available exit length, drainage, cleaning access and material collected. Tyre mud removal alone does not control dust from stockpiles, cutting operations or the whole construction site.

Is FODS a complete construction dust-control system for India?
No. The mats address material carried by vehicle tyres at the entrance. They do not address every source of airborne dust, construction waste or wastewater. Review them alongside the wider project controls.
What matters when assessing a high-traffic construction entrance?
Review truck routes, available exit space, ground conditions and the existing cleaning process. Identify who will inspect and clean the entrance as traffic changes. A layout suitable for one project should not be assumed suitable for another.
